More about
Beginning Scottish Gaelic 1-D

  • Root language English
  • Target language Other

A third set of very basic Scottish Gaelic terms and English equivalents, with grammar notes. Has nouns like "morning", "afternoon/evening", "night", "parent", various animals, etc., some additional adjectives, "sorry", and some key two-word items for "Are you ... ?" and "just now", plus your first "is/am/are [verb]ing" compound verb, and some prepositions like "in" and "near". This is based largely on Duolingo Scottish Gaelic Unit 2 and a bit of Unit 3. As with my other decks, grammatical notes are included, though they may be of more use later when returning to these cards for refresher practice.
