Intro. vii. Lenition.
In Manx, sometimes the first sound of a word can change. The first type of changes you'll learn is called 'lenition' - which means 'softening'. You'll learn all the circumstances in which this happens in later lessons. This lesson is to help you remember what those changes are, and introduces three circumstances in which it happens: after 'my' (my), 'ayns yn' / 'syn' / 'ayns y' / 'sy' (in the), 'fo'n' (under the) and 'ec yn' (at the).

Intro. viii. Numbers 20 - 40
Learn numbers 20 - 40. When writing numbers we don't usually use a hyphen. It is more usual to see 'shey jeig' than it is to see 'shey-jeig'. In this lesson the hyphen is used to help you, but there is no need for you to use it.
