Question 1

Class A

Answer 1

• A tractor Trailer
• A truck and trailer with a Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) 26,001 or more pounds, provided the GCWR of the vehicle being towed is more than 10,000 pounds

Question 2

Class B

Answer 2

•Any vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more
Or
•A vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more pounds towing a trailer with a GVWR OF 10,000 pounds or less
Or
•A bus with a GVWR OF 26,001 pounds or more designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver

Question 3

Class C

Answer 3

• Any vehicle with a GVWR under 26,001 pounds used and placarded to transport hazardous materials
• Any bus, including school-buses, designer to carry 16 passengers or more, including the driver and with a GVWR less than 26,001 pounds all school busses designed for 15 or fewer passengers
• Any bus or van designed to transport 8-15 passengers, including the driver, which is used for hire
