FLWOP Procedures
Pitch up and trim for 60-65 Kts , Choose paddock select high key (1500ft) and low key (1000ft) areas -Ensure fuel valve is open , Mixture rich , Primer is locked Try a restart on a single mag , Check engine instruments to spot any abnormalities, Check for any partial power If Unsuccessful - Secure by turning fuel valve off ,Mixture - Cut off , Mags- Off ,Throttle - Closed
29
Stalling in a steep turn
Entry - Reduce Power 2000 RPM let A/C slow down, roll 45 A.O.B Non Terrain Critical - pull back to stall warning, check forward , advance to full power , roll wings level. Terrain Critical recovery - check forward, full power, reduce to 30 A.O.B , climb back to reference altitude, rollback to 45 A.O.B, reduce power and roll wings level on reference point.
30
Steep Gliding Turns Procedure
Clear the area down and in the direction of the turn, choose a reference point and recover before 1500 AGL. Carb heat ON, Pwr to idle, slow down 80 Kts, Roll 45 A.O.B, Set ,hold & trim for 80 Kts. Hold the attitude, don't chase the speed
31
TDPET
Taxi – Route, taxi checks, runups. Departure – Route, altitudes, airspace. Performance – Based on the day, limiting factors with P-Chart. Emergency – on roll, airborne with sufficient runway, airborne without sufficient runway remaining, who will be in control if an actual emergency happens today. TCTWO
32
SVFR Met Minima
600’ ceiling and 1.5km vis by day only and clear of cloud

34
Prior to arriving at Aerodrome TCTWOS
Get plate TREATS CHART (Explain how your joining, RWY, Circuit Direction) TERRAIN WEATHER OPERATIONAL SECURITY
35
Precautionary landing
-Identity the field -Identity the wind direction -Setup the circuit (preferably LH) -Identity minimum heights -Fly to the start of downwind -Make Pax Brief and Radio Call -Descend down to minimum height and fly parallel to the runway -Count the length and inspect the paddock -Go around and climb back up to nominated height -Turn and establish downwind -Do BUMFER checks -Turn base -Turn final -3rd Stage of flap -Go around
36
HASELL
Prior to entering Low flying, Slow flight or Stalling Height AGL Airframe Configuration Security Engine Location (built up areas) Lights all on
37
Privileges and Limitations of a CPL
● PPL Privileges + Tow banners without a rating ● PIC on a non ATO operation for hire or reward on a multi pilot aircraft ● Co-Pilot on an air transport operation for hire or reward ● PIC on an air operation with an aircraft certificated for single pilot ops for hire or reward
