the indigenous Australians
the dreaming
aboriginal spirituality and it explains their strong relationship with the land and living things
Perceptions
the dreaming made strong links with people and land and all living things, they view themselves as care-takers of the land (custodians) rather than owners.
impact
having a nomadic lifestyle meant that the impacts were very minimal (positive)
fire-stick farming decreased the risk of strong blazing fires within forests but did change the landscape, and burn food supplies for fauna.
interactions
fire-stick farming - they used fire to clear land so it can regenerate and not become over grown.
nomadism - moved with the seasons and after small periods of time so they wouldn’t exhaust resources and could follow food supplies.
