I worked as the regional Head of IT/Shared Services for Diageo critical Markets Russia, Eastern Europe and Turkey.
As a member of both the market and EMEA shared Services executive Leadership Teams I am accountable to
- Develop and execute the shared services Strategy aligned with demands of my markets. This obviously includes the identification of investment demand prioritized alongside the fit with strategic objectives.
- For Implementation of resulting Technologie Solutions and Delivery of BAU services for our IT and Business Process Service Lines
- To build lead and develop a high performing team in the market.

3.) Career „So, how did I get here?”
A
- Studied Industrial Engineering an Berlin University of Technology.
- Following University I went into SAP Consulting with KPMG Management Consulting in Berlin and built expert knowledge around configuration and implementation methodology as Project Manager from large SAP projects. I worked internationally in a number of different industries.
- My expert knowledge in this field also allowed me to make the jump across the big pond to the US. Here I continued to work in the SAP consulting space first for PriceWaterhoause and later for IBM.
- Eventually I decided to switch sides and moved to the client side in this case Diageo (2003). Starting out as a SAP Projekt Manager I worked myself through a number of different roles in our Global IT function and was promoted to the executive level in 2008.

4.) Current Situation/Reasons for leaving:
A
- I performed my last role from Hamburg and was consequently traveling a lot.
- Over the last 18 months pressure on my markets has steadily increased and I was asked if I can imagine to move to Moscow and carry out my role from there.
- For a number of personal reasons this wasn’t a possibility and sadly there was no other role available that would offer me the same challenge and development opportunities and therefore I decided to pursue my career outside of Diageo.
