• if an overload or electrical malfunction occurs, a circuit breaker will pop out

What should be done if a circuit breaker pops out?

1. Don’t touch it. Notify captain immediately
2. Notify remaining FAs which circuit breaker has popped out and Captain was notified
3. If Captain directs to reset it, push it in only once (do not hold it in)
4. Notify captain of result after reset
5. If circuit breaker causes an electrical fire, take action to fight the fire

Door Safety Strap Operation

1. if equipped, place strap across door whenever cabin door is open and jetbridge or airstairs are not in place
2. after use, release door safety strap and stow properly
   
   1. Type 1 - secure loose end of strap to a/c mounted assist handle
   2. Type 2 - allow strap to completely retract into a/c door frame. Report any discrepancy to pilots
   3. Before closing a/c door, verify door safety strap is properly stowed
3. Close and arm door
   
   1. if strap is caught in door, notify pilots immediately
   2. under direction of Captain, ensure door is disarmed and open door
      
      1. Type 1 - open door far enough to bring door safety strap inside
      2. Type 2 - open door and ensure strap completely retracts into a/c door frame
