God told Abraham that he will protect him and give as many descends does as the stars. But he has to leave his family and go on a journey.
God will punish those who punish him and will bless those who bless him, those who mock him will be cursed.

Why did god ask Abraham to sacrifice Isaac (Abrams son)

Answer 2

God wanted to test Abraham and see if he would listen to him. So he asked him to kill his son as a sacrifice for him. So Abraham lied to Isaac to get him to the mountain in order to kill him. But as soon as Isaac was going to die, god said ‘ Do NOT kill Isaac!’ He said that because he knew Abraham was trustworthy and able to do anything he asks.
