1. Pharmacy submits documentation
2. Accreditors review documentation & make recommendations if gaps exist
3. An onsite visit is scheduled and the review team verifies all policies & procedures are fully implemented, including interviewing staff
4. Accreditors grant or deny accreditation, or identify areas that need correcting

Focus is organizational-wide with a primary focus on patient safety.
Organizations need onsite surveys at least every 3 years.
