What method is used to carry out an accurate acid-alkali titration?

Answer 2

1) Use a beaker and funnel to pur dilute hydrochloric acid into the burette.
2) Use the pipette and pipette filler to add 25cm3 of sodium hydroxide solution to the conical flask. Then, add a little indicator.
3) Put the flask on a white tile underneath the burette.
4) Record the burette start reading.
5) Add acid to the alkali until the end-point.
6) Record the burette end reading.
7) Calculate the titre.
8) Repeat steps 1 to 7 until concordant titres are obtained.
