Answer 1

Mild hypotension responsive to fluid therapy alone. It will manifest within 2 hours of ingestion and usually lasts several hours.

How do ACE-I act?

Bind to and inactivate ACE in a reversible manner. Prevents AT-1 to AT-2 conversion. AT-2 is normally a power vasopressor + endocrine effects + reduced aldosterone. A reduction in aldosterone leads to hyperkalaemia.
