2
Q

purpose of activity analysis

A

helps identify the physiological requrements of an activity such as relavant fitness components, energy system contributuons, and major muscle groups involved.
with this information, appropriate fitness tests, and training porgrams can be selected and designed for the athlete

16
Q

movement patterns

A

typical patterns completed by a performer furing an activity
shows what the athlete is doing, how often they do it or what percentage of that movement makes up their game
can be used to determine major fitness components, and descibe energy system contributions

17
Q

work to rest ratio

A

summary of the time an athlete spends physically working compared to the time spent resting or recovering
provide clear indication of relative energy system contributuons
* W =/> R: aerobic
* W < R: anaerobic glycolysis
* W «_space;R: ATP-PC
