- Wide complex tachycardia of unknown origin unresponsive to amiodarone or lidocaine

• Sick sinus syndrome
• 2nd and 3rd degree AV blocks
• Afib and A-flutter

CV: Transient asystole, bradycardia, PVCs, palpitations, chest pain, hypotension
Resp: Dyspnea, hyperventilation, tightness in throat, bronchospasm
CNS: Dizziness, lightheaded, headache, blurred vision
GI: Nausea

6 mg RAPID IV push followed by 20 mL flush, AC vein preferred. Continuous ECG monitoring required

• Short half life(10 sec)
• Administered rapidly followed by immediate flush
• Reoccurrence of tachydysrhythmia
