- can multiply the bottom by each other and then cross multiply the tops

- change to improper fraction if you have something like 1 2/3
- multply the 3 x 1 + 2
- check the sign (ie. - / - = +)
- Reverse second fraction i.e.
4/3 / 7/3 = 4/3 x 3/7
