Q

What is two-state control?

A

Either on/off
Jumps between extremes - no fine tuning
Less efficient in heaters/ motors with more wear
Useful for control systems, alarms etc.

Q

What is proportional control?

A

Voltage starts off further from desired voltage, and graduallt gets closer and closer to desired value before eventually settling on it.
Useful for heaters, motors, fans etc.
