Field Distribution Box (FDB) 9 checks will be conducted at shift change not to exceed four (4) hours. ISRTs will start their check without notice. Once completed, notify AS and LDA of termination and results. Annotate all checks in the blotter.
- Sensor subsystem transmission lines. Check FDBs to ensure all locks are in place and between fence lines for any exposed cables, erosion, etc.
- Vehicle checks. Periodically check vehicles for removal of keys and hidden intruders. If keys are found in vehicles, remove the keys, lock the doors and turn the keys over to AS.
- Check the ECP pedestrian, turnstile and vehicle gates to ensure locks are operational by attempting to pull the gates open.
- Conduct random RTES tower checks. Ensure both doors are secure.

As the emergency vehicles approach the WSA, the AEC/SF member,
with the assistance of the Exterior SRT (if available), will determine the status of each
responding vehicle by use of the Sign/Counter Sign (S/CS). As the vehicles approach
the vehicle entrapment area they must open their driver‘s side window. The AEC/SF
member/SRT will challenge each vehicle with a portion of the S/CS. The vehicle driver
will respond with the remainder of the S/CS by a show of fingers on one hand extended

number of personnel in each vehicle and verify that number with the vehicle driver. If all

Describe the permitrax sensor system.
It is based on ported leaky coaxial cable technology. Sensor cables buried around the perimeter of a site carry radio-frequency signals along the path of the cables. These signals form an invisible electromagnetic detection field around the cables that can detect the presence of an intruder crossing it. Sensor Modules house the necessary electronics to monitor the detection field created by the radio-frequency signals and to raise an alarm if an intruder enters the detection field.

Describe the PIRAMID alarm.
Passive Infrared and Microwave Intruder Detector (PIRAMID) uses a combination of microwave and passive infrared sensors to detect both the motion and the body heat of an intruder. When both the microwave and infrared sensors detect an intruder at the same time, they trip master alarm relays which provide contact closures for an alarm device or central control panel.

- The AS will put MUNS personnel on the phone to authenticate with LDAO and RDAO utilizing code of the day procedures.
- LDAO and RDAO will verify the MUNS personnel on the AAAL.
- Ensure MUNS control is online and monitoring the closing.
- After good authentication, the LDAO will secure the M&I facility alarms (RDAO will grant) and wait for good reset of alarms.
- The RDAO and LDAO will log all the appropriate information in the SF blotter.
