CPW 3rd
- Commits subd 1 (long),2 (short) or 5 (not a citizen) of 4th degree and has a prior conviction of any crime
- Possess explosive/incendiary bomb, bombshell, firearm silencer, machine gun or any other firearm or weapon stimulating or adaptable for use as a machine gun
- Possess defaced firearm or machine gun
- Possess 3 or more firearms.
- Knowing possession of a disguised gun
- Possession of an assault weapon
- Possession of large capacity ammo (11 or more)
- Possess unloaded firearm during commission of a drug trafficking felony
- Possess unloaded fireman during commission of a violent felony
CPW 1st
1) possesses any explosive substance with intent to use the same unlawfully against the person or property of another or
2) possesses 10 or more firearms
CPW 2
1) with intent to use the same unlawfully against another such person;
-possesses a machine gun or
-possesses a loaded firearm or
- possesses a disguised gun or
2) such person possesses 5 or more firearms
2)such person possesses a loaded firearm except at home or place of business
Unlawful possession of a weapon upon school grounds
It is unlawful for any person 16 or older to possess an air gun etc. on school grounds without written permission
Criminal use of a firearm 2nd
Commits a class C violent felony offense and either
1. Possess a deadly weapon if it’s a loaded weapon or
2. Displays what appears to be a pistol, shotgun, machine gun or other firearm
Criminal use of a firearm 1st
Commits a class B violent felony offense and either
1. Possess a deadly weapon if it’s a loaded weapon or
2. Displays what appears to be a pistol, shotgun, machine gun or other firearm

- A person not authorized to possess a firearm sells one or
- A person not authorized to possess a firearm possess one with the intent to sell
Criminal sale of a firearm 2nd
-Unlawfully selling, etc. 5 or more firearms
-Unlawfully selling, etc. 5 or more in a period of not more than a year
Criminal sale of a firearm 1st
-Unlawfully selling, etc. 10 or more firearms
-Unlawfully selling, etc. 10 or more in a period of not more than a year
Criminal sale of a firearm with aid of a minor
When someone less than 16 sells etc. , a firearm unlawfully to another when solicited or aided etc. by someone 18 or more
Criminal sale of a firearm to a minor
A person not authorized to possess a firearm unlawfully sells, gives etc., a firearm to someone who is less than 19 (looks less than 19) and who is not licensed to possess the firearm
Criminal purchase or disposal of a weapon
- Person not authorized to possess a firearm, rifle, shotgun purchases one from another person
- Person knowingly purchases a firearm, rifle, shotgun for a person prohibited from possessing such a weapon
- Person disposes of firearm, rifle or shotgun to a person ineligible to possess such a weapon
Aggravated criminal possession of a weapon
Person commits CPW 2nd and does a violent felony or a drug trafficking felony arising out of the same criminal transaction
Criminal possession of a firearm
Possession of a firearm and failure to register a firearm that was previously possessed lawfully
Criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds
Possession of a rifle, shotgun, or firearm in or upon any place (school bus) used for educational services
