- coming to terms with life’s limitations
- we all live within certain confinements and subject to the gaze of the others
- constricted within snow globe
- find a resolution together and surrender to the fact that we all have to live with individual regrets

- three scenes - in scene three - two duets, group, trio( Amy, David, Laura), solo (David as tribute to his dad)

what is the aural setting?

- designed by Andy Higgs
- futuristic atmosphere
- time had passes and old ways had broken down
- used whole of piano both inside and out to create cold, ambient sound
- also used the sound of paper snow and incorporated other sound effects such as distant rumble, wind and footsteps through snow
- elements of the song ‘the sunshine of your smile’ and full song used in final section

what are the costumes?
A
- designed by Anna Jones
- wash of blue and green , merging with the backdrop
- looks as if paint running from garments - relates to being stuck in one of Djurovic’s paintings
- jackets and jumpers which are removed to show a that time has moved on

- designed by Chahine Yavrovan
- lighting focuses in on one or two spots
- opens out in the middle with a blue wash and warm and cool side lighting before closing down to another spot

what is the staging/set?
A
- based on serval of Gorab Djurovic paintings
- looks as if paint is running down a canvas
- in scenes 1 and 2 this is painted with brightly coloured strips, which are removed for scene three to create calmer visuals
- paper snow scattered on ground
- two stools and a headless suit on mannequin legs perched on third stool
- dance floor light grey and edge is a wooden frame
