What is a caution
Are used to highlight OPERATIONAL SAFETY MATTERS in an ENTITY, such as a person or vehicle. For example: Threats of Violence, Self Harm, Escape Risk

Are used to highlight a particular interest in an ENTITY and ACTION to take (Power of Arrest etc), such as a person or vehicle. For example: Missing Person, Wanted/KLOF, PFVO

- The creation of a relationship between two entities, such as two people who associate with each other
what is a workflow
Automated process of notifying other units/sections/individuals of a SUBMISSION which requires actions. This generates a TASK
what are tasks
An action or job required to be completed by a unit/section/individual
Deleting in ATLAS
- ATLAS allows the user that creates a submission, entity, or detail such as a flag to delete the entry up to 24 hours after it was created.
- If it goes beyond that time contact CMU or ATLAS Support
- If you notice a mistake in data e.g. a persons name spelt wrong. You can start a workflow by right clicking on the entity and request a correction to data.
Bail checks
Bail checks are completed on a street check.
Compliant bail checks can be recorded on one street check.
Non-Compliant bail checks and Fail to Sign in breaches require separate street checks
Admiralty Scale
- Police use a NATO based system which gives information a two-code such as A1, B4, D2, F6 called the Admiralty Scale
- The first code relates to the reliability of the information and is defined by a letter
- The second code relates to the credibility/accuracy of the information and is defined by a number

Searching
- A star (*) can be used as a wildcard. You can use multiple wildcards, they just can’t be next to each other.
- The better the information inputted, the better search results
- DOB Search 1998/tab or 35-40/tab gives date range, same for height range
- Date Range –[number of days]-T then Tab gives you a range
- Summary – Saturate Log* or Log
- Active Only (Address)
- Start broad and drill down, especially if unsure
- Every entity and submission is able to be searched
- When using COMPASS, it will take you to the relevant ATLAS submission or other police system record e.g. ORS.
Telco RFI
- A Telco RFI is a request about Telephone Numbers or Email Addresses
- Create an RFI Occurrence (or use an existing one or Intel Sub) and send to your supervisor for review.

Telco RFI: click the Start Workflow, Select Category: Request For Information, Workflow: Telco RFI Supervisor Review. Click OK
