Sativa
A species of the Cannabis plant that is known for its long thin leaves and short flowering season. Believed to produce a cerebral, daytime high.
Hybrid
Genetically a cross between one or more different strains. Commonly bred to produce desired effects. The majority of strains are hybrids and the term is typically used to indicate strains that mimic a combination of both energy and relaxation.
Indica
A species of the Cannabis plant that is known for its short broad leaves and longer flowering season. Believed to produce a body, night time high.

Trim
The trimmings of a cannabis plant. Includes sugar leaves, bits of cut-off buds, and knocked off trichomes, or kief. It is considered low quality and usually reserved for making edibles, hash, or pre-rolls.
