Regular Rhythm
Prolonged (>0.20 large square) PR Interval
Slowed conduction through AV node (but no missed beat)
1st degree block
Irregular rhythm with progressively lengthening PR interval until a QRS complex is dropped.
Normal QRS
2nd degree heart block Mobitz-type 1 (Wenkebach)
QRS complexes dropped without PR prolongation
2nd degree block-Mobitz Type II
No beats conducted through to ventricles.
AV dissociation, in which atria and ventricles driven by independent pacemakers.
P waves appear to “march through” QRS complexes (atrial rate faster than ventricular rate)
