1- we can diagnosis it during pregnancy
by
-U/S
-and abdominal exam we feel the head in the fundus of the uterus and the fetal heart heard slightly above the umbilicus

2- during labor
in flex breech we can feel the buttock as (as soft , irregular and no suture seen ) anus and scrotum

• leg is extended
• happen in primigravida & near term because she has strong muscle contraction make the legs extended
• she can deliver vaginally by (the after head cooming )

• the hip and the knee are flexed
• in multipara
• the presenting part is irregular and less pointed
• can deliver vaginal but there is risk of cord prolapse
  and early engagement is less likely
