Procedure:
66 sexual offences studied from various police force committed by 27 offenders
Aim to find 33 variables which were clearly linked to potential behavioural characteristics
Eg variable 2- ‘surprise attack’
Gives insight into criminal and their actions
Results:
Central findings in 66 cases:
Suggests a pattern of behaviour where attack is impersonal, sudden and the victims response is irrelevant
