When to admit people w/ burns
A
- Thermal burn covering 15% of TBSA
- Deep Dermal burn covering 5% of TBSA
- Burns to face, hands, feet, genitalia, or perineum, or any flexural surface, such as the neck, axilla, elbow, or knee
- Chemical and Electrical burns

- Saline 0.9 wash
- Chlorhexadine wash
- Fine Mesh gauze OR non adherent dressing
- Leave blisters intact where possible
