Sound alarm drop a fix get the anchor for letting go check if system is intact if not set Major lube oil leak bill If intact switch pumps maneuver with engines
Major fuel oil leak?
come down sound the alarm mark your position secure the machinery grab PKP or AFF MSFD
Noise or Vibration in reduction gear?
Non metallic means slow the rpm by 200 and monitor for over load.
- lower by 200 rpms until noise ceases
Note: If not affected by OPS bring both shafts to all stops.
-slow affected shaft to prevent freewheeling
Loss of lube oil pressure in red gear?
Loss of lube oil in MDE reduction gear?
Class Charlie fire in SSDG/switchboard?
MDE crankcase explosion?
MDE/SSDG loss of fuel oil pressure?
If the engine tachometer fluctuates between 10-50(HUNT) OVER 50 its SURGE ? MDE Governor malfunction?
- for over 50 RPM secure affected machinery
SSDG Overload?
-report to bridge overload 1 or 2
and request to secure non vital circuits.
-inspect for grounds
-reduce non vital loads until load is reduced
