ISO
Determines the sensitivity of the camera sensor. ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization, but the acronym is used as a term to describe the sensitivity of the camera sensor to light. The higher the sensitivity, the less light is required for good exposure. These values are a carryover from the days of traditional color and black-and-white films.
Aperature
Also referred to as F-STOP, this determines how much light passes through the lens at once.
Shutter Speed
Controls the length of time that light is allowed to hit the sensor.
ISO
100: FULL sun and NO shade
200: Lots of sun, could be in partial shade or an overcast day out in the open
200: INSIDE on a sunny day, directly by a large widow.
400: In the shade on a sunny day or under a covered area on an overcast day
700: INSIDE on a SUNNY day or under a covered area on a OVERCAST day
640-800: Sun is starting to set and less light
800: Inside, quite a distance from a window (SUNNY OUTSIDE)
850-1000: Inside, quite a distance from a window (overcast day)
1250: Inside during the EVENING, light bulbs are the only source of light.
1600: Inside a dark room where there is a light source(theatre, school production, etc)

PHOTO BASICS
* IF ITS TO BRIGHT
Increase your shutter speed
Pick a bigger F-Stop#
Increase your ISO
* IF ITS TO DARK
Decrease your shutter speed
Pick a smaller F-Stop #
Increase your ISO
*. WANT SHARPER IMAGES
Shutter speed is >= Focal length
* Sunny 16 Rule - Sun on subject
F/16 Aperture + ISO = Shutter Speed
So ISO 100 Shutter Speed 1/100 @ F/16
* WHAT APERTURE IS GOOD FOR GROUPS
F/stop >= Number of Subjects
* DEPTH OF FIELD
Small F-Stop= Shallow big F-stop = depth
