What are some concerns regarding teleconsulting?
What is our responsibility to society regarding alternative approaches to treatment and intervention?
The behavior analyst should promote the application of behavior principles in society by presenting a behavioral alternative to other procedures or methods.
What are public statements?

Any form of advertising, listings in professional directories, publication of your vita, or any form of oral presentation whether in a courtroom, public presentation, or in any form of publication.

During a job interview, the employer asks, “What is your experience in behavior analysis?” You respond that you have taken extensive coursework in applied behavior analysis. Is that ethical?
It is ethical as it is an accurate statement about myself; I have finished all coursework other than the remainder of this class and my internship. I would specify exactly what I meant by “extensive coursework.”
A coworker asks if they may schedule a time for you to meet with their sister-in-law whose child was just diagnosed with autism, what should you do?
I would tell my coworker that it is not appropriate for me to schedule a meeting with someone else through her. She is free to tell her sister-in-law about my services, but I would need to make a separate relationship with the sister-in-law in order to set up a time to meet and discuss the types of services I provide (assuming I am already a BCBA). If I were not yet certified, I would recommend that my coworker refers her to professionals specializing in autism.
