Exemptions to Wearing Seatbelts - Rule 267

5. Person is carrying out door to door deliveries and required to get in and out of vehicle and not travelling more than 25km/hr.
6. They are providing or receiving medical treatment of an urgent and necessary nature.
7. A truck or bus that has a sleeper compartment. The two up driver is exempt while occupying that compartment for the purpose of rest.
8. Passenger on public bus.

Question 2

Exemptions to holding a licence - Road Transport Act

Answer 2

1. Interstate and International visitors
2. Driver of a golf or green keeping vehicle
3. Driver of a light rail vehicle
4. Driver being submitted to a driving test (as an applicant)
5. Driver of a vehicle not more than 250kgs un-laden, that is constructed or used solely for the cutting of grass or incidental to the cutting of grass.
6. Driver of a vehicle specifically constructed to be used and is solely used for the conveyance of an invalid and not capable of travelling at more than 10km/hr.
7. Driver of a pedal cycle to which is attached one or more auxiliary motors having a combined maximum power output not exceeding 200 watts.

Exemptions to Registration - Schedule 1 (Road Transport)

3. Vehicles used on roads or road related areas to a limited extent or primary production.

Question 4

When do Interstate registered vehicles become unregistered in NSW? - Clause 9

1. Registered in another state or Territory and no longer temporarily garaged in NSW
2. Registered in another state or territory of which is cancelled or expired
3. Not displaying registration label
4. No number plate affixed to the vehicle

Trailer from Victoria conditions to be exempt from registration in NSW. - Clause 11

1. Is being towed by a motor vehicle that is registered in Victoria

4. Weighs less than 200 kilograms unladen
