Milankovitch Cycle
Regular and periodic variations in the Earth’s orbit cause cyclical variations in the seasons which can be either a warming effect or a cooling effect.
Methane Hydrates
This is an example of how FEEDBACK can affect/drive climate change. As more CO2 is put into the air, the Earth warms, and ice melts. As ice sheets melt, they release trapped methane, which reacts with oxygen in the air to create CO2. This warms the Earth even further, which melts more ice, etc.
