How might the clinical signs differ between a myopathy and a neuropathy?

A

A myopathy results in weakness with a stiff/stilted gait, pain on muscle palpation.
A neuropathy results in flaccid paresis/paralysis, neurogenic muscle atrophy and reduced/absent reflexes.
