How do you use a sewing machine?
- Thread the machine
- Adjust stitch length and tension to suit the fabric
- Test stitch on a scrap of paper or fabric
- Press lightly on the presser foot to to start sewing
- If need to stop in middle of line or to turn a corner leave the needle in
- At the end of a line go over the last few stitches to secure it.
- Raise the needle and lift the presser foot to remove the fabric.
