Light check

Answer 1

-Turn to examiner and ask them to assist you in the light check. Explain that you will direct them to each area of the tractor and trailer and indicate to them which lights you are testing. Ask them to confirm the lights operate correctly. Listen for governor cut out and turn off engine. Turn key to the “on” position. Ask examiner to exit vehicle. Direct them to the areas.

-Once light check is complete, motion examiner to come to the driver door area. When examiner arrives, remove the keys and exit cab using 3 points of contact. Approach examiner and state “This concludes my in cab”
