- Deoxygenated blood leaves right ventricle via pulmonary trunk
- Pulmonary trunk branches into two pulmonary arteries for each lung
- Blood becomes oxygenated and leaves the lungs via the four pulmonary veins
- Blood enters into the left atrium, then left ventricle to be pumped through the aorta and to the body
