You enter and exit a citadel via airlocks to prevent contamination within the citadel. Cleansing stations are located upon entry to decontaminate personal and clothing/equipment

1. a pre particulate paper filter that removes coarse particles including nuclear fallout.
2. a particulate filter that removes bacteria
3. a gas filter that removes gas and vapours using charcoal
