1. Generality (Generalization): The skills should work everywhere, not just in therapy.
2. Effective: The intervention must actually work. We should see real improvement in the child’s behavior or skills.
3. Technological: The plan should be written clearly and step-by-step, so anyone can follow it.
4. Applied: ABA should help with real-life problems that matter to the child and family.
5. Conceptually Systematic: Strategies should be based on ABA principles, not random ideas.
6. Analytic: We make data-based decisions.
7. Behavioral: Behavior should be observable and measurable.
