Manual Therapy Classification criteria:

Answer 1

• No sx below the knee
• less than 16 days of pain
  -FABQ less than 19
• 1 Hip w/ >35 degrees of HIP IR

Question 2

Stabilization criteria

Answer 2

• Less than 40 Y/O
• Post-partum, SLR>91 degrees
• (+) Prone instability test
• (+) Posterior Pelvic Pain Provocation, ASLR, Modified Trendelenburg tests
• Pain w/ palpation of long dorsal SI ligament or pubic symphysis

Question 3

Direction- Specific (extension): Classification Criteria

Answer 3

• Sx distal to buttock
• Symptoms centralize w/ lumbar ext
• Symptoms peripheralize w/ lumbar flexion

Question 4

Direction- Specific (Flexion):

Answer 4

Age >50
Directional preference for flexion
Lumbar spinal stenosis

Question 5

Direction-Specific (Lateral Shift):

Answer 5

• Visible frontal plane shift of shoulders relative to pelvis
• Directional preference for lateral translation movements of the pelvis
