Clio offers all accounts unlimited document and file storage capacity on our platform, providing ease of mind for firms of all sizes without the added cost and worry about managing a storage cap. This unlimited storage capacity is available to all accounts, regardless of the subscription plan that you are on.

1. Unlimited storage: Store as many documents and files as you need. the only size restriction is that an individual file cannot be larger than 5GB
2. File versioning: Keep track of document revisions with the ability to view an old version. This allows you to see a document’s progression through the lifetime of a matter
3. File comments: Add comments to any files or folders for other account users to read. Help keep track of important notes regarding said files
4. Document sharing: Files and documents can be shared with clients, co-counsel, and other collaborators through a secure email link or via Clio Connect. When using Clio Connect, collaborators can upload documents themselves into the firm’s account
5. Document preview: Quickly view Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without having to download and open the file
6. Adding time entries to files: Time spent drafting a document can be conveniently recorded directly on the file. This is efficient for firms that have created flat fee entries for document drafting, or any firm tracking and billing for time spent on document-related work
7. Document automation: quickly create standardized documents by pulling in unique contact and matter information through merge fields
8. Document integrations: Connect document storage applications to Clio (note that integrating with OneDrive is only available to Boutique and Loyalty EMEA accounts
