   spinal cord for relfex actions and transmitting info to and from brain
3. PNS subdivided into ANS and SNS
4. ANS responsible for involuntary functions such as digestion and breathing
5. ANS into sympthetic and prasympathetic branches
6. SNS voluntary movements like walking transmits info brain to skeletal muscles
