Inference
When a text contains information that is not overtly present, and must be assumed by the reader.
Logical Ordering
When a text is constructed to maximise understanding, e.g. chronologically, sequentially, etc.
Formatting
Font style, spacing, alignment, headings, etc.
Consistency
When similar concepts or entities are referred to in the same manner throughout a text, without much variation.
Conventions
The established rules and expectations for how certain types of texts are structured.
