Question 1

When do we use WING anti ice?

Answer 1

Only in severe icing conditions.

If activated on the ground, will turn on for 30s test cycle then turn off.

Question 2

When do we need to use ENGINE ANTI ICE? When must it go off?

Answer 2

When in visible moisture (includes moisture on ground), and TAT or OAT is below ten degrees.

It should not be used below -40 SAT.
