A score needs to be combined with observational findings in order to reflect functional deficits. - Any score that is above (to the right of -2) does not warrant OT services. That is considered a minimal delay. You can provide family education or give them a checklist to monitor milestones - When the score is above the mean (0), the performance is considered above average, they certainly do not need OT services in that performance area.
