Q

What is ambient temperature rating in compex?

A

Ambient temperature rating (Ta)

  • Marked as a range (e.g., Ta −20°C to +55°C).
  • The equipment is certified to operate safely only within this ambient range; outside it, surface temperature behavior can change.
  • If no range is shown, many standards assume a default of −20°C to +40°C, but always check the nameplate/documentation.
