A

What are 2 examples of the mechanical method and how do they work?

A

The condom - this provides a complete barrier between the penis and vagina to prevent sperm entering the woman’s body.

The diaphragm - this is a circle of rubber inserted into the top of the vagina to prevent the sperm travelling into the uterus and oviducts.
