A qualification specimen that can be divided into sections called grading units.this grading units shall be approved by MDT Level III
Formal Training
Organized a d documented program of activities designed to impart the knowledge and skills required to be qualified to this standard. Formal training maybe be a mix of a classroom, practical, and programmed self instruction as approved by the responsible NDT Level III
General examination
Addressing the principles of the applicable NDT method

Nondestructive testing
Technical methods to examine materials or components in ways to detect locate, measure and evaluate flaws to assess integrity, properties and composition and to measure geometrical characteristics
