-test: examination of symmetry of the tongue (spit tongue out)
What are the muscles and eye motions for direction of pull for CN III?
- medial rectus = medially
- superior rectus = upwards
- inferior rectus = downwards
- inferior oblique = up and out
- if it is paralyzed then the motion seen will be the opposite
What are the muscles and eye motions for direction of pull for CN IV?
- superior oblique = down and out
* if it is paralyzed then the motion seen will be the opposite
What are the muscles and eye motions for direction of pull for CN VI?
- lateral rectus = laterally
* if it is paralyzed then the motion seen will be the opposite
