A

Less serious offences which are always tried in the magistrates court e.g. minor driving offences and common assault

what are triable either way offences

A

middle range offences which can vary in the degree of harm caused, e.g. theft and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. As the name implies these can be tried at magristrates or crown court

A
