17
Q

levator costurum o i

A

transverse process to inferior rib turburcle

18
Q

which transversospinale has a different action and what is it?

A

semispinalis, extension of neck, ipsi rotation

19
Q

what is the action of levator costurum, and where can you find them?

A

elevate ribs, cii-t7

20
Q

what muscles make up the sub occipital triangle?

A

rectus capitus posterior minor, [rcp major], obliquis capitus superior, obliquis capitus inferior dorsal rami of suboccipital nerve– post ramus c1

21
Q

rectus capitus post minor o i

A

post arch of atlas to med aspect of inferior nuchal line

22
Q

rectus posterior major o i

A

spinous process of c2-lateral aspect of nucal line

23
Q

obliquis capitus superior o i

A

transverse process of atlas - point between sup and inf nuchal line

24
Q

obliquis capitus inferior o i

A

transverse process axis - transverse process atlas

25
where does the posterior ramus of c1 exit, and what is its significance?
between base of skull and atlas, and it innervates the sub occipital triangle
26
what blood supply is near the occipital triangle, how is it a concern for manipulations?
vertebral artery, wraps around transverse process of c1 before foramen magnum, a translation of c1 could cause stroke.
27
what is the path of the greater occipital nerve?
goes through traps, also innervates scalp ie cervicogenic headaches after occipital triangle
