Axonotmesis
Injury to a nerve interrupting the axon and causing loss of function and wallerian degeneration distal to the lesion; with no damage to the endoneurium, regeneration is possible (e.g. Crush injury)
Neuropraxia
Injury to a nerve that causes transient loss of function; nerve dysfunction will be rapidly reversed (e.g. Compression)
Hypovolemic shock signs and symptoms
Cause: heat, dehydration… Increased RR and HR, decreased BP, decreased level of consciousness, anxiety
Septic shock signs and symptoms
Caused by severe infection; fever, tachycardia, organ failure, tachypnea
Anaphylactic signs and symptoms
Hives, edema, wheezing, warmth, dyspnea, anxiety
