Ray

Extends endlessly into opposite directions.

Two rays with a common endpoint.
Parallel Lines
Lines that never intersect on a flat surface.
Perpendicular lines
Lines that intersect to form 40 will angles. Each angle is 90°.
Transversal
Is a line which intersects two or more parallel lines.
Adjacent angles
Two angles that share a ray.
Complementary angles
Two angles that add up to 90°.
Supplementary angles
Two angles that add up to 180°.
Vertical angles
Are angles opposite of each other along to intersecting lines. Vertical angles are congruent.
Corresponding angles
Are angles that have the same relative position along two intersecting lines. Corresponding angles are congruent and parallel lines.
Alternate interior angles
Are angles sides of the transversal with in the interior of two lines. They are congruent for parallel lines.
Alternate exterior angles
I said sides of the transversal on the exterior side of two lines.they are all congruent for parallel lines.
Consecutive interior angles
Are Ingles on the same side of the transversal within the interior of two lines.yeah angles are supplementary angles for parallel lines.
Line segment
A part of a line; has two endpoints.
