deadlift: less stress on quadriceps, more on hip extensors
leg press feet high vs feet low
high: glute max low: vastii
leg extension vs other quad ex’s
leg extension: rectus femoris heavily active (can’t in other exercises as they involve simultaneous hip and knee extension)
rowing vs chining
rowing: place more stress on the posterior deltoid, middle trapezius and middle rhomboids
chining: latissimus dorsi and teres major
narrow vs normal bench press
narrow: more triceps brachii
if squat is the only exercise chosen…
